Conflict and Resolution: 4′ Glass Panels
These panels took about 6 weeks to build with the 8th grade class at Jackson Middle School, Portland Oregon.
The students learned the glass medium and techniques. They applied this learning to their subject matter which was History:The Civil War/Conflict and Resolution. You can see imagery that reflects this topic of conflict and resolution. Continue reading

Weaving Friendships
5th graders at Jacob Wismer Elementary were in charge of creating a graduation gift to the school. They were the first class to graduate from the newly built school. Modern in design, the glass curtains represented a weaving of their friendships. Students started on paper building a blueprint which was later transferred into glass. Continue reading
